Keith Walsh (Co. Secretary) Keith is a solicitor with a busy practice based mainly on family and employment law. He helped us to set up our free legal advice service and remains as one of a team of solicitors who give up their time on a voluntary basis to provide free legal advice in Whitechurch Library.
Eddie Meade was, until fairly recently, one of the major employers in the area. Merchant Meade's Builders Providers was a long-established family business. Eddie has brought a lifetime's knowledge of the area and decades of business experience to the Project.
Marian Gormley (Treasurer) is one of our Community Healing volunteers. She is a qualified reflexologist and a Reiki master. Marian also helps us with the Special Learning Programme and is a member of the Aisling Alainn Arts Festival group. She is currently studying for a FETAC Major Award in Healthcare Support.
Helen Browne is a Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a practice that is based at the WEB project in Whitechurch Library. As a former staff member of the Glencree Centre for Reconciliation she has over seven years experience in community relations and conflict-resolution work, both nationally and internationally.
Una Buckley is a professional literacy tutor who has also served on the board of Aontas, the National Association for Adult and Community Education. She is a member of our volunteer literacy tutoring team and is also helping us to develop a computer training programme for adults experiencing reading difficulties.
